Best dosai in a long way for us (from Townsville, Qld). Also enjoyed a delicious vegetable curry with roti. But I think whatever you order, you would enjoy. Pleasing to see local support too as lots of workers were coming in for their lunch. Very friendly service too.
We have been providing quality food since 2015. The cafe has been renovated to accommodate Tandoor oven to expand our variety of dishes served to our valuable customers. We have always believed in providing quality food with quality service. We have limited indoor seating capacity of 26 and at present outdoor seating capacity of 20. We advise you to make reservations to avoid any disappointment.
We often head out to Covai Cafe at Palmerston for masala dosa and iddlys....a special treat you cant get anywhere else in Darwin area. Good food at reasonable price...friendly owner..clean cafe...and its byo.

Just had a delicious feed of beautiful Indian cuisine here. 4 of us had entres and mains and all were perfect. Lovely flavours! The service was very happy amd friendly. We will be back:)
Went for a dinner at Covai cafe. Ordered dosa and biriyani. The server was very attentitive and quick. Food arrived to table less than 10 mins, good timing. After our mains, we had 2 desserts and masala tea. Tea was bit strong and we both agree. Overall nice dinner outlet with reasonable pricing and can recommend.
